Corners

Who invented the corner? No not the HBO drama about Baltimore entitled The Corner. The actual corner. That intersection of two flat walls That space in the closet where you can not push anymore. That section that I can hide something and I know it can’t sneak out. The corner. Did someone think that we needed a space in the home to let you know that you’ve run out of space.? There is no where else to go. You are boxed into and backed into a corner.

When you decide to de-clutter your home, it’s the corners that will give you the greatest challenge. When you decide to break up with an acquaintance, your mind comes up with all kinds of plans and schemes to release that person from your life. You can’t just wring your hands and make them dissolve. You can shake your arms in a gesture of release but that doesn’t remove the person from your life. How do I disassociate myself from my self?

Parts are hiding in the corners of your mind. In the back where theres no where else to go. The song says man invented corners, cause God would have made a curve .
